    Ds impressions are as stated above: except for the fact you are eating/sleeping in Bancroft, utilizing NA classrooms, and being tended to by some mids, there was VERY LITTLE [as in other than welcom and goodby] exposure to the Academy as a service academy. Did you know we have youth programs that happen right here on the USNA campus? It was an extremely valuable experience for me because it was the first time I was able to meet midshipmen and explore my academic interests in a fun, experimental way. The non URM was from a small town in the midwest so perhaps is was a geographic recruiting (and he too was qualifiedfor sure).
